The VENUS watch brand was founded in 1902 in La-Chaux-de-Fonds. The factory was known under the name “Paul Schwarz-Etienne”. Later the brand was known as “Les Fils de Paul Schwarz-Etienne”. No watch was ever sold under these name. The following “brand names” have been registered at the “Eidgenssisches Amtfr Geistiges Eigentum” for Schwarz-Etienne:
